The Tavern Room
This federal-style home was built around 1797 by Gideon Frisbee, a judge, tavern keeper, farmer and entrepreneur. A guided tour of the house offers a look at the home life of county residents from 1800 to the 1920's. Don't miss the outhouse in the back! Inquire at the main exhibit building for a tour. First floor is accessible by wooden ramp; photographs of second floor available from guide.
